I love this look with some volume at the crown and a side swept bang, keeping it slightly messy and imperfect gives it a modern flair... Hairspray and a good teasing comb are your essentials and tie it up with a simple hair elastic, you can also take a small piece from the pony and wrap it around the elastic than secure with a bobby pin to create a polished finish... Avoid looking like Pebbles Flinstone and wear your pony from mid to low height or try an elegant evening look and pull it to the side... Use a thickening or texture spray in your hair to give your pony a tousled beachy look, try Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray it works wonders for all hair types... and remember this look is always best achieved on unwashed hair...
