I love love love Rachel McAdams, ever since The Notebook I have been smitten! These are two very glamorous looks pictured here, she is on trend in the first photo with her orange hued lipstick and most recently Rachel was photographed at The Cannes Film Festival with this beautiful warm blonde shade, retro waves and sexy smokey eyes... Her sister is also her makeup artist and she does amazing work, Rachel always looks gorgeous!

I am loving this new denim trend, I think the retro denim look is totally chic and fabulous! For myself being a petite gal I would likely go for a dark wash and only wear them with sky high heels or wedges... They look amazing with a simple crisp white blouse or v-neck loosely tucked in and finished with simple skinny belt... The Gap and Old Navy have a few different wide leg higher rise denim styles to choose from, it's a nice change from the skinny jeans we have been seeing for the las few years!

I have been crushing on fedora hats lately, perhaps it's my upcoming trip to Jamaica that has me looking at fun summer accessories more than usual!! Best Dressed At The Met

Here are a bevy of beauties at The 2011 Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala... It is impossible to pick one or two favourites so I decided to post a whole bunch!! This is fashion eye candy at it's best! I love the bright pink and super sexy red and the cut out gowns and long sleeves were other big trends on the red carpet as well... I must say I think Ginnifer Goodwin is definitely in my top 3 for sure!

It seems like Gwyneth Paltrow gets more beautiful as she gets older... maybe motherhood brought out her beauty even more, she always looks effortlessly gorgeous and her style is totally chic and elegant... She balances trendy pieces with perfectly tailored neutrals and fabulous denim, check out her Sergio Rossi suede wedges... they are to die for!!

I was totally shocked to see this pic of Blake Lively this morning ... She looks so gorgeous with her new red hue, I have always loved her beach blonde waves but this is a sweet sophisticated change for her!! This warm ginger colour is just right for her skin tone, this is a great way to transition from blonde to red without looking harsh... P.s. Her dress is absolutely killer!

I couldn't resist posting this pic of Beyonce in this incredible Marc Jacobs dress, she simply looks amazing... This dress shape and length is perfect for her killer curves and strolling the streets of Paris in her sky high stilettos she looks totally chic! I love the two tones and I am a sucker for anything polka dot...

Flower Power

I need a few more summer dresses to add to my warm weather wardrobe (if we ever get any of that!) But I do have a trip to Jamaica in my near future so I can count on wearing my dresses there!! I found these adorable floral frocks on the F21 website and the best part is they are all under $30!! I think I need to have them all :) Are you a dress girl when the weather is warm and sunny? I love them, they are just so easy to throw on with cute flip flops or sky high wedge sandals... I can smell the sweet summer breeze in the air....

I had to post this pic of Reese Witherspoon, her chic and simple outfit are what I try to achieve on a daily basis! Reese always looks put together but never overdone and is totally age appropriate and on trend but not too trendy... I have a navy shirtdress and navy tights in my closet and I certainly have a few pairs of brown boots to choose from... so I think I may try my version of this monochromatic outfit for work tomorrow... I love a little outfit inspiration from my favourite fashionistas! I will post pics too :)

I Heart Rose

I recently have become a Damages fan! I never watched this show until we purchased Netflix and let me tell you it is SOOO worth watching... I am hooked! One of the stars of the show is the beautiful Rose Byrne, I decided to google her today and found that she is quite the fashionista... Just another reason to love her more! I love her haircut, I am trying to achieve the same look with my bangs right now and I love this just below shoulder length cut too! I am especially inspired by her makeup in these photos, she easily transitions from day to night with a demure matte pink lip and a peachy blush or a punchy red lip with perfect matte skin... I think Rose is one to watch on screen and the red carpet as well!

Today I went to a fashion show with my Mum, we had a great time! All the proceeds went to The Stephen Lewis Foundation and the show was fantastic with beautiful clothes and accessories from local boutiques and shops! It was also a great excuse to get dressed up, I went for a red dress and leopard shoe combo and used a little celebrity inspiration to come up with my outfit... What do you think, does this work?

These beautiful Nine West leopard wedges are a recent purchase of mine! They were regularly $125 and I got them for $50 on sale at The Bay, yipee!! I have only worn them once with tights and a black dress, but I think they will look killer with a pair of jeans and floaty top too... I have been waiting for this darn snow to melt to break out my Spring shoe collection!! And let's face it, I am simply a sucker for animal print especially when it comes to shoes!!

Pop Of Colour

Kim Kardashian's outfit is the perfect example of how to incorporate colour into your winter to spring wardrobe! I love her bright blue J Brand skinny jeans with the tough black leather jacket and black studded booties, she looks totally chic and on trend... Would you wear coloured denim? I am thinking a tomato red pair might be fun for spring, if you are going to try this out keep the rest of your outfit simple and use neutral colours...

White Out

As soon as the warm weather is upon us I start thinking about summer clothes and accessories and nothing says sunny to me more than white sunglasses!! I love all of these frames (especially Fergie's!) I have a couple pairs of white frames but I think they need to be updated... I love the wayfarer style and the chic cat eye frame we are seeing everywhere... Would you wear white shades too?

When St.Patty's Day comes around I instantly start scouring my wardrobe for green... Although I seem to have a ton of green accessories I really don't wear lot of this fun fresh colour, so this got me looking around for some green pieces to add to my wardrobe for everyday wear... I came across this pic of one of my favourite fashionistas Rachel Bilson in this adorable dress so I searched for a reasonable copy and I found one!! This dress is at Forever 21 for $41.80! I ordered it online along with a few other goodies... I can't wait for it to arrive, I think I'll wear it before the next St.Patty's rolls around ;)

Kim Kardashian has the most beautiful skin I have ever seen, she is absolutely radiant! Although we rarely see her without makeup I think she always looks gorgeous... These are two very different looks and I love them both, I think the orange red lipstick is totally on trend and the nude glossy lip looks amazing on her too! I suddenly feel the need to break out my false eyelashes looking at these pics of her!! What look do you like better on Kim?

I am loving the long maxi skirts we are seeing out for spring, they are so bohemian and create instant style when paired with a great pair of heels and a simple fitted v-neck tee... This is such an easy look to put together and any body type can wear a maxi skirt, they can be close to the body or full and flowing... I found these three gorgeous skirts all for under $25 on the Forever 21 website, all available in store as well!! I would like a simple long fitted black one and a full boho inspired one in a bright pattern for the spring... Would yo wear a maxi skirt?
