Boxing Week Buys

Ok I'm back after suffering from a terrible bout of the flu and a sinus infection which is still lingering! I am so sad to say that I have not been able to get out for any of the Boxing Day shopping I had planned on, this truly breaks my heart... Well I did manage to order 2 gorgeous pairs of boots from Aldo online for an insane discount and free shipping, and I did peruse The Gap and Old Navy online to find a few cute sweaters and a cozy pair of fur slippers! What did you find on your Boxing Day shopping trip? Please let me live vicariously through my fashionista friends!!

H&M Boxing Day Sale Alert

Boxing day at H&M select locations starts at 7am! The first 100 customers will get up to $100 off their purchase. They also willl have deals starting at $5 all over the store. I am sooo heading there first, elbows out and ready to rumble! Lol.

Hey ladies, here is a sneak peek at the Old Navy Boxing Day flyer. There are deals for men, women and children!! Every Boxing Day Old Navy is one of my first stops, this is the time to get a coat or two for 70% off and I love stocking up on sweaters and tees for $5-$15... It is like Christmas morning all over again!! I will keep youo posted on any other pre-sale info I can find!!!

Hmmm I am on the fence about Emma Stone's new blonde do, it's probably for a movie role and she is still totally gorgeous but her red hair was amazing!! This was the pic I brought with me to my hairdresser last week, I love this dark rich red colour and I think we came pretty close to achieving it... What do you think, does Emma look better as a redhead or a blonde?

I had to post these pics of Isla Fisher (love her!) and Christina Aguilera in this amazing red lace Dolce & Gabbana dress... This would be the perfect holiday party dress, don't you think? I love how they both paired it with a blazer and it looks great with sheer or opaque hosiery, I personally love opaque but I would wear either! Not only do these ladies look totally gorgeous they also prove that mommy's are sexy too!!

I found this awesome handbag on the F21 website for just $30.80! This is a totally chic and multi purpose bag, I think I have to have it!!

I couldn't resist posting a few looks from the Joe Fresh 2011 Winter lookbook, I love this line it is so affordable and stylish... I was so excited when our very own Joe Fresh opened up down the street from me, yes it is in the middle of Fortinos (our local grocery store) but hey I can pick up milk, eggs and a cute leopard skirt all in  one stop!! Is there another actress that can even hold a candle to Natalie Portman's beauty? I think she is truly a modern day Audrey Hepburn, she is effortlessly chic and looks just as gorgeous when snapped by the paparazzi on an afternoon stroll... She has been walking the red carpet lately to promote her newest movie Black Swan (which looks amazing!) so we have been seeing a whole lot of Natalie... These are two of my favourite makeup looks she has sported on the red carpet, the dark smoky eye and soft glossy lip and then the dark berry lip with subtle eye makeup... One word, stunning!

I had to post this picture of Gwen Stefani, she looks absolutely beautiful in this yellow Prada dress with a skinny black bow belt at The Kennedy Center Honors on the red carpet... She looks like a modern day Audrey Hepburn, so classic and chic in a colour we don't see enough of in the colder months!! I love this look, what do you think of Gwen's gown?

I am a sucker for stripes, I probably have at least ten striped tops in my wardrobe and would pick up ten more!! This is a great oversized striped tunic from Forever 21 and it's only $19.80, this would look great with skinny jeans or black leggings... Are you a fan of stripes too?
