Don't you find this time of year a little dreary? I find myself longing to wear my summer dresses, strappy sandals and bold bright florals... But alas it is February and although it has been a relatively mild winter, it's definitely no where near spring quite yet! So I'll just have to fake it a little, this lace lavender dress was an H&M find this past summer for $34.90 (I bought it in cream as well!) and I feel like the colour gives just the right dose of "spring is in the air" yet I'm well aware it's still winter with the appropriate layers... I added opaque tights, black booties and a black blazer to keep the focus on the dress, then I threw on the leopard scarf to add a cozy chic vibe to it. Would you wear lace in winter? Or is it a one season wonder?
I feel every woman should have access to a fabulous wardrobe, great hair and pretty makeup on any budget! And I can help any gal achieve this!! This is the story of all of my favourite things ... fashion, shopping, makeup, shoes, purses, boots, jewellery, hair products, pretty things, celebrities, trends ... and my endless quest for the ultimate bargain ...

The Striped Leopard
I absolutely love the idea of mixing stripes with leopard, it is such a fun combo and when done right looks totally chic! Remember to keep the amount of stripes to leopard in check, leopard flats and a nautical striped tee look great paired with dark denim and a neutral handbag... If you want to try something really fashion forward a faux fur leopard coat with a bold striped top, black cigarette pants and nude pumps would be an amazing night on the town look! Play around with this cool combo, you'll be surprised at how easily these very different prints work together... I'm wearing a cropped stripe sweater over a black dress with a leopard scarf and booties. I'm digging this mix!
