Red Carpet Round Up

I am so in love with award season fashion right now! Checking out the gowns from the SAG awards last night it is almost impossible to pick a favourite... There was lots of bright colour and sexy body hugging gowns with thigh high slits along with romantic flowing dresses... We also saw lots of black ribbon belts and waist cinching details and beautiful unfussy hair and clean makeup... I can't wait to see what the Oscars will bring!

Bohemian Babe

I love how Nicole Richie can transition from bohemian babe to pin curl princess with a simple hairstyle... What do you think... does Nicole easily transform to this chic polished look or do you prefer her laid back beach bunny waves and simple makeup? I think she can pull off anything, but I am a devoted Nicole fan through and through! P.s. love the purple shadow in her first look!

Bundled Up Beauties

It has been so cold lately that my outfits are constantly hidden under my coat, hat, mitts, gloves and scarf... although I do have a huge collection of coats, hats, mitts and scarves (it's ridiculous!) So I thought I would post some of my favourite celebrity cozy chic looks that they have been sporting around town this winter, I am often inspired by these pics to try a different winter accessory combo or to pull out the military coat I bought last winter like Liv's here and pair it with my Hunter boots (I love her green ones!) Cameron's belted camel coat is so sophisticated and a totally timeless look and Reese is simply adorable and so cool.... What is your winter style, peacoat or parka? Uggs or riding boots? I admit I love (and have) it all!!

Wide With Style

Ok I am totally loving the wide leg pants and jeans that I've been seeing!! I have a few pairs that I haven't worn since my mild addiction to skinny jeans in the last few years, but I think it's time to break them out of hiding... This is such a great look and can be worn on any body type, may I suggest though for us petite (short) ladies that you wear them a little longer and always with a heel or wedge... This look can make already short legs look even shorter so try on a few pairs to find your perfect length and width, try a simple black or dark indigo denim because you can easily incorporate them into your wardrobe with your existing pieces... Pair them with a basic black fitted tee for a weekend chic look or try them with a tailored white shirt and chunky necklace for work... The Gap and Old Navy have denim and basic black wide leg pants right now for between $25-$65, they are totally affordable and a must have!! Would you wear this trend?

Feeling Blue

So I was checking out the F21 website today and I came across these gorgeous blue suede pumps... How adorable would these look with your LBD or a great pair of skinny jeans!! And they would transition so easily from winter to spring, so really they would be a total investment... I need to have these shoes and the best news of all is they are only $24.90... I wonder if they come in red too!!
