Jen's A Pink Mess

When I saw this pic of Jennifer Aniston on the red carpet in Paris I thought to myself "why oh  why?!" I think this Christian Lacroix frock is ill fitting and the colour and sloppy draping are just a big ole' mess... I absolutely love Jen's everyday style and she looks fantastic in simple classic sheaths, so I guess the lesson is "if it ain't broken than don't try to fix it!" Sometimes fashion risks just don't work out :)

A Hint Of Leopard

This great day to night outfit that Heidi Klum is wearing out on Saturday afternoon shopping with a friend is absolute perfection! There are some basic outfit ingredients here that every gal should own and they include a great pair of black skinny jeans, a boyfriend blazer and a killer pair of gladiator heels... Then throw some trendy animal print in the mix simply with a leopard tank and voila sexy chic! I found a tank similar to Heidi's on the Forever 21 website for only $8.90 and it comes in a variety of colours so for that price you can grab a few... Just say meow!

Taylor Dresses Up

I love a dress for any occasion, I have at least 20 in my closet for all seasons in all different lengths and styles... I love how Taylor Swift layered her dresses with cute cardigans (a staple in every gals closet!) for cooler weather and than paired her adorable polka dot sundress with metallic flip flops and braided headband... I am also crazy about the cognac leather hobo bag she is sporting in all these pics, I think I have a similar one tucked away in my closet that I need to dig out... 

Green With Envy

I came across this picture today while searching for green eye makeup looks... First of all this model's hair is to die for, the colour is beautiful and her straight long locks with matching fringe are totally chic and sophisticated... I am really loving her jade eyeshadow and that it doesn't look overdone which can be especially hard to pull off when using colours like greens or blues, this is a look I am going to try on myself... I will post a pic of me when I do it! Remember to keep the rest of your makeup neutral when you are using colours on your eyes to avoid looking clownish and overdone...

Falling Forward

Ok I realize we are just getting into Spring fashion and hopefully Spring weather soon enough but I had to post these amazing looks from the Burberry Prorsum's Fall 2010 collection straight from the runway (all hail to Christopher Bailey!) ... The colour combinations are absolutely perfect for Fall with rich berry shades, deep mustard, classic army green and a splash of punchy pink... On a side note I must have the budget friendly version of the black buckle boots they are wearing!!

How Very Perry

I absolutely love Katy Perry, she is a constant source of inspiration for me with her fearless and fun takes on makeup and fashion... This is one of my favourite pics of her, I love the hot pink stained lip and her super full thick lashes are to die for.. This would be a dream celebrity client, I would love to do Katy's makeup, I think she can pull off anything from demure to dramatic and I like it!
