Happy Anniversary!!

Today is my 3 year wedding anniversary, our wedding was truly one of the best days I have ever had! I loved everything about September 30th 2006, from my beautiful husband to my wonderful family and friends to my amazingly gorgeous dress it was a perfect day from start to finish... Here are a few pics from the day and I must say I can look back and feel totally happy with my color choices, I also loved my hair and makeup and the venue was incredible... xoxo

If I could only choose one item in my makeup bag it would definitely be my L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Very Black... I have tried dozens of others, from high end department store brands to $6 drugstore deals and I always go back to my favorite... The wand is full and does not miss a lash and it goes on thick but not clumpy, use 2 coats for extra fullness... It is available at most drugstores for $10 a bottle and worth every penny... Try Deep Brown for daytime and Carbon Black for night and the waterproof formula is totally smudge proof!

Blair On A Budget

This is amazing, Anna Sui has done a Gossip Girl inspired collection for Target, the clothes made their debut in stores on September 13th... I am definitely taking a trip across the border to check them out... There are 19 looks in the collection, each inspired by one of the four main female Gossip Girl characters Blair, Serena, Jenny, and Vanessa... This is a great chance to get Gossip Girl style at wallet friendly prices from $30-$60!

Lovely Layers

Rachel Bilson is one of my favorite stylistas, she does casual cool perfectly... She is taking this dress from summer into fall, I love that she swapped sandals for tights and riding boots... Her accessories add a punch of color with her gauzy lavender scarf and aqua bag... She finished her look with a great pair of Ray Bans and natural hair and makeup, Rachel is never too done up she keeps her everyday looks fresh and chic!

I never thought I would ever contemplate this look again.... but I admit it, I am actually loving the acid wash invasion! I love the look on a skinny jean in a darker denim wash, I would avoid any other trendy cuts like a high waist or wide leg... I think the key to pulling this look off is to keep everything else simple, I love how Audrina has her denim paired with a great white basic tee and black heels or flat boots... I have seen a few cute pairs at F21 and H&M ranging from $35-$50, I may revisit this trend but this time without the teased hair and desert boots!!
