I recently made an Old Navy online purchase and was so pleased when this beautiful cream double breasted wool blend coat arrived... The fit is perfect and totally chic, I have always wanted a winter white dressy coat and this gorgeous topper did not disappoint! You won't believe this but I bought it for a total of $55 including tax and shipping, regularly $115 I had a 50% off coupon plus an additional %15 off from a LouLou Magazine promo... This was a beautiful (and warm) deal! I can't wait to wear it over a chunky black turtleneck dress paired with my over the knee black suede boots...

I am loving Heidi's white Ann Taylor suit, she is the new spokeswoman for the line and wow this gal wears it well... I would totally wear a white suit any season and I love how she paired it with all black accessories including the cute fedora, this makes it so fall/winter appropriate... Make sure your suit is well tailored and it is best to keep the rest of the look minimal and chic to avoid looking like a character from Miami Vice!! Would you wear a white suit??

Banging Around

I am so tempted to go back to bangs, I have spent almost two years growing mine out and I am totally bored of my hair these days... I am going next week for a cut and colour so I think it's time for a fun new hair cut, I'll stick with my bright red hue but I think it would be fun to change things up a bit!! When I see pics like these of Christina Ricci I feel totally inspired to take the fringe plunge... P.s. I love her makeup in both of these pics, wow she looks like a screen siren with her red matte lips!!

I am loving Rachel Bilson's black suede Brian Atwood "Eastwood" platform booties!! I thought I would peruse the web and check out my usual fashion haunts to see what I could find, low and behold on the Forever 21 website I found these adorable and near identical booties for a mere $33.80!! And they come in gray faux suede as well, at that price it is so tempting to buy both colours... Are you wearing booties this season?

This fabulous look that Blake Lively was wearing at a recent Hollywood event is totally chic and the perfect example of how to transition a dress from summer to fall... This hot pink frock is so beautiful and this colour is amazing on her, I love the bold dress paired with black opaque tights, booties and a fitted shrunken leather jacket... I want this jacket, I will have to keep my eyes peeled for a similar one to add to my winter wardrobe!!
