Blue Streak

What do you think of this teal blue dramatic eye makeup? I just ordered a new palette from Smashbox and it has a really deep blue green similar to this colour pictured... I think this could be a fun summer look and I would keep the rest of my makeup simple and soft so it doesn't look tacky!! I'll post a pic when I sport this look myself :)

The Bigger The Better

Now this is what I call glamazon hair!! I love this revved up ponytail, this is a killer updo for a night on the town and teasing it up to great heights kind of toughs up this usually sweet look... This style works best on dirtier hair and make sure you have a strong hold hairspray to pump up the volume, get into the crown and tease with a small bristled brush or a teasing comb!! Loving this look!!

My Mary Janes

I made a few online purchases this weekend and one of them is these adorable double strap black patent maryjanes from Spring Shoes... I got them for an awesome price (of course!) They are regularly $45 on for $17.99 plus an additional 10% off and free shipping!! I probably won't wear them much until the fall but they are going to be a staple shoe in my wardrobe for sure :)

Floral Frenzy

I think you can only pull off this look if you have legs for days like Whitney Port... She looks amazing in this floral and cherry mixed print mini dress and I love love love her hair and makeup here... What do you think of Whitney's red carpet look? Is it a hit or a miss?

Stars In Stripes

I never get tired of stripes, they always look chic and a cool black and white striped tee looks awesome with a great pair of jeans or a sophisticated pencil skirt... I love this sequin version pictured on Whitney and Brooklyn, this puts a fun spin on the classic cotton striped top and gives it some attitude... I will have to check out some of my favourite spots for a similar version!!

Modern Milk Maid

I am loving the milk maid inspired updo, I have been googling pics of braid inspired hairstyles in search of something different.... I really think this look is adorable, but perhaps to keep yourself from looking childish a stronger makeup should be worn to balance the look... I would either try a deep red lip or a cool smokey eye with loads of mascara... You could even tough it up by adding contrast colour bobby pins throughout the braids, this is such a great summer do for keeping cool and looking chic!

Retro Shades

I love Katy Perry's glasses!! What do you think are they a do?? I love the cat eye shape, they are so chic and cute... I was debating on a pair of sunglasses like this in black, they are a little trendy but I think they would be kinda fun with a great summer dress!!

Foxy Lady

I am not always a fan of Megan Fox's fashion choices but I thought she looked fantastic on the red carpet the other night... What do you think of her plunging red Armani Prive dress? She is exuding Hollywood glamour with the retro hair and makeup, I love it!!

Golden Goddess

I just had to post this pic of J-Lo on the red carpet last night... This woman is so beautiful and her figure is absolutely amazing!! She looks like a modern day pin-up girl with her killer curves... Jennifer Lopez definitely knows how to glam it up and play up her "assets"!! Her hair and makeup are perfect and I am loving the new honey coloured hue she is sporting...

I had to post this pic of Vanessa Hudgens, this outfit is the epitome of summer chic... Taylor Swift is a true beauty, she is so fresh faced and really has alot of fun with fashion, hair and makeup... I can't decide if I like her with curly or straight hair better, the ringlets are perfectly styled and her straight hair is shiny and lustrous, let's face it she could probably dye it blue and sport a mohawk and still look amazing!!... Romper Room

I am really loving the romper for a change instead of a sundress for a hot summer day ... I have seen a few cute ones at H&M and F21 (the one pictured is $19.80 at F21) for under $30 so I think I will pick up a few, perhaps a plain black one and a floral one ... A Do Not Do

I adore Katherine Heigl, I think she is smart, beautiful and funny but I am definitely not loving the dated bouffant she was sporting on the red carpet last night... Yikes!!! This is so aging and unflattering on her and I am not completely sold on her as a brunette... What do you think, should Katherine go back to being a blonde goddess?? The pics of her with light hair are so stunning... one of these things is not like the other....

I think I must have at least 6 white t-shirts, okay maybe closer to 10!! But some are scoop neck, some v-neck and a few crew styles... They just work with everything, they can be dressed up or down and are a must have in any girls closet... Here is Jessica Alba looking adorable in her white tees... I Want My MTV

Sorry for the lack of posts over the weekend but I was super duper busy!! I had 3 wedding parties to do makeup for on Saturday alone!! Phew!! So I did get a chance to see some of the MTV Movie Awards last night and I thought I would post my top three favourite looks... Firstly I wish I had Cameron's legs and secondly could Jessica Biel be any more stunning and thirdly how does Scarlett manage to look sexy and chic everytime she does a red carpet?! Did you see the show last night, Sandra Bullock was amazing and she looked beautiful, you go girl!!!

I Heart These

I bought these Nine West Heech wedge sandals last summer and they are my constant go to summer footwear... They look awesome with dresses and skinny jeans, I have quite a few other pairs to choose from but I always put on my favourites first!! Skirting The Issue

While perusing the F21 website today I picked out my three favourite skirts that I must own immediately... And the best part is they are all under $20!!
