Is there anyone more beautiful than Penelope Cruz? She is a classic Hollywood beauty and I am loving this makeup on her, the classic red lip and thick black mascara looks amazing on her... She looks effortlessly chic and glamorous!

I love Lauren Conrad's style, she has great taste and knows what works for her body... One of her favourite looks is skinny jeans and a great top whether it is a loose racerback tank or a bright printed floaty tunic she gets it right every single time!! She looks so sweet and summery in this pic and though I love her long locks down and tousled she looks fabulous with her hair pulled off her face too, she is so chic and lovely :)

Beach Babe

I know I have been on a braid kick lately but I just had to post Audrina's super cute undone side braid... This is the perfect do for a hot summer day or its an easy fix for a bad hair day!! The best thing about this look is it works better on dirtier hair, it is actually easier to work with or you can also use a beach spray (Bumble and Bumble makes a great one) or even try salt water in a spray bottle to create that just out of the ocean texture... I think this extremely hot weather has been inspiring my hairdos too!!

Red Carpet Meltdowns

I thought I would post my two absolute least favourite red carpet looks of the week, with all the options these Hollywood starlets have I sometimes can't help but wonder why they (or their stylists) choose certain ensembles... Some trends (like scarlet lips on Lea Michelle) just don't work for everyone and is it just me or does Mischa Barton's makeup make her look like a crazy porcelain doll?? Her dress is way too bedazzled not to mention the odd mesh cutout at the bust and those shoes don't help either!! This is definitely a situation where elegant and understated trump glitzy and trendy... Yowza!

Flipping Out

One day sale alert fashionistas, tomorrow Saturday May 22nd all solid colour flip flops at Old Navy are $1, yes just $1 for men women and children !!!!! There is a limit of 5 pairs per customer so get there early for best size and colour selection, this is the perfect time to stock up on a summer wardrobe essential... I just had to post the new hairdo that Michelle Williams showed up to The Cannes Film Festival with... Doesn't she look amazing with this pixie cut and blonde as you can get colour!! I think she was stunning with her long locks but this new look is both chic and edgy... This is when I ponder the major haircut question, do I do it??

Major sale alert fashionistas!! Until June 2nd select shorts and pants for men, ladies, teens and kids will be marked down to half price at H&M!! And considering how budget friendly H&M clothing is I think this is a chance for some super savings!! I will definitely be checking out the sale this weekend :)

The Braid-ey Bunch

As soon as the weather warms up I want to wear my hair in braids, I love the front braid pinned to the side and any braided updo looks totally chic and cute... I was perusing the web for some braid inspiration and decided to post a couple of my faves, I am not a great french braider so I tend to cheat a little and pin my braids in with brown bobby pins... This is such great look and the bonus its so easy to cover up a bad hair day with a braid or two!!

I found these adorable t-shirts at The Gap both on sale for $14.99, they are both 100% cotton and super comfy!  The Gap is one of my favourite places to shop for basics and the sale section is always full of them, the selection is great right now as all the Spring merchandise is marked down so stock up now :) You can never have too many tees in your closet...

Sienna Miller has her own sense of style, she does boho chic like no other and is a vision of beauty on the red carpet in an amazing gown... Sienna has been sporting these Nicholas Kirkwood black patent oxford flats ($905) around town lately and you can have them too! Don't Kate and Jessica look casual cool and summery! I love the easy breezy outfits they are both wearing and the tousled hair, no fuss or muss... Ring Around The Rosy

Anyone who knows me is well aware of my adoration for pretty pink blush day or night! We are really seeing the pink and rosy shades making a major comeback this summer and less of the peachy warm tones... This can be a difficult look to pull off, so my advice is to start off slowly and remember sometimes less is more so you will avoid looking clownish.. Choose a shade of pink that works for you and apply it with a big fluffy blush brush on the apples of your cheeks (smile while doing it to keep the placement natural)... Try MAC blush in Pinch Me it works for all skin tones and has a gorgeous matte finish...

Bare Beauty

At nine months pregnant with her third child the stunningly beautiful Claudia Schiffer posed nude for the June 2010 cover of German Vogue and was shot by Chanel designer the legendary Karl Lagerfeld... She looks stunning and absolutely radiant but she is not the first mommy-to-be to do a cover like this, do you remember when Demi Moore did the Vanity Fair cover in 1991 totally nude and nine months pregnant as well, I remember thinking that she was so gorgeous and brave to bare it all... What do you think of Claudia's cover??

I am so happy to see tie-dye making a comeback, this is the perfect boho look for summer and here are some adorable dresses and ladies sporting this summer trend... Time To Play With Colour

I recently bought this 5-in-1 palette from Sephora's Spring/Summer 2010 collection, it is amazing!! There are 50 shadows, 10 lipsticks and 5 blushes and the 5 smaller palettes all pop out and it comes with a small case if you want to throw one in your bag... Now believe it or not this gorgeous palette is only $34.50 but it is a limited edition so you better get there quickly if you want one of your own!! I have been using it on my models for photoshoots regularly since I bought it, this is a MUST have for any makeup artist or makeup lover!!

Silver Streak

This look in a few words is classic, pretty, simple and chic... I love the nude matte lip, soft peach blush and a thick swipe of silver shimmer on the lash line... In one word British beauty Emma Watson is perfection... This is red carpet makeup done effortlessly and could be worn on any Hollywood starlet of any age... I think I am going to try this look out on the weekend using a thick charcoal sparkly shadow liner, I am not going to any red carpet events but it would be a suitable look for dinner and drinks!!

Moody Blues

I am really loving some of the great colours in the OPI Hong Kong collection, they have some really beautiful brights and fun rich primary shades... I am going to pick up a few this week and I especially want Suzy Says Feng Shui, it is a bright blue creamy looking polish really similar to the one Jessica Simpson has on in this pic.. I think this will go on my toes though, I am ready for a change from my usual deep reds ;)
