Oh dear, J-Lo is a J-No!! This is an unfortunate look for the usually lovely and glamourous Jennifer Lopez... What is going on with her hair, it looks like a nest for a family of squirrels and that dress looks like a belted garbage bag! Eek!! This is when toning it down and keeping things simple would have been the way to go...

Seeing Double

This is a great little floral dress worn well by both ladies, I love the little gray booties that Emmy is wearing and on a cooler day Jessica looks chic with her opaque tights and black leather jacket paired with her floral frock... This is street chic done right twice!

Sandals Under $20

I found some great sandals while browsing online today all for under $20!! These styles are from Old Navy and Forever 21 and range from $8.50-$19.50... At prices like this you can really stock up on some fun styles and colours! I also found out that Old Navy and The Gap will be offering online shopping in Canada soon, this is soooo exciting and maybe a little dangerous too ;) Lol!

Rachel Rocks Military Style

I had to have a military jacket this season and I found an amazingly cute one at H&M for half price ($20!)... I have been wearing it all the time with my boyfriend jeans and a chunky scarf but I recently paired it with an adorable floral dress and oxford heels for an evening of dinner and drinks with my hubby... I love Rachel Bilson's jacket and I just had to post it when I found out it is from The Gap boys department!! It is still available on sale now for $34.99, sometimes the kids departments are worth taking a peak in for us petite gals :)

Shades Of White

What do you think of white sunglasses? I have a weakness for them but I hardly ever wear them... I must have at least 5 pairs from large round frames to the always cool wayfarer style all in white and I only wear them during the summer months and with an understated outfit... I think they are great for the super young teen girl but they must be worn with caution as we get older to avoid looking too trendy or silly! Keep your hair and makeup simple when sporting your whites shades and if white isn't your thing try a pretty pastel shade this summer... Check out H&M or F21 for sunglasses they have a ton of selection and they are so affordable the prices range from $6-$15, by a classic pair and a fun trendy pair to mix it up!!

Tootsie Talk

Well it took me an hour to decide on a colour for my pedicure today!!! I really tried to choose something out of my usual realm of dark rich colours like OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark (an all-time fave) and I tried Cajun Shrimp which is a really bright orangey pink but after one coat I just couldn't do it!! So I compromised and chose a dark red from OPI's Russian collection called St. Petersburgundy and I must say I am very pleased... I wanted something that will work with any colour palette I am wearing and I find the darker colours to be a little more neutral than the bright beachy shades of summer... What is your favourite OPI colour? Do you have a go-to shade too?

Luscious Locks

Ok I am having a major hair envy moment, can you believe how beautiful the colour of her hair is?? I am due to see my lovely hairdresser Joanna in 2 weeks and I am considering a change, so when I came across this picture of Lily Collins (daughter of Phil!!) I was totally inspired... I love this warm caramel hue and it still has a hint of auburn so I wouldn't be completely steering away from red... Oh the decisions I have to make!! P.s her makeup is fabulous :)

Country Chic

Here are a few of my favourite dresses and lovely ladies and The Country Music Awards last night... I think Reba McEntire has the key to aging gracefully, she is absolutely beautiful and holds her own next to the young country cuties like Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood... I think the overall look last night was less teased hair and cowboy boots and more about looking classic and pretty in neutral tones with lots of detail and beading... The makeup and hair had an Old Hollywood glam feel to it, looking very polished and flawless...

Whitney Wears It Well

I am a fan of Whitney Port's style, sometimes I think she looks a little sloppy or maybe that she has too many trends on at once but with her 6 foot tall super skinny model frame she can pretty much get away with anything... These are some of my favourite looks on her because they are all put together perfectly while still looking effortless and chic... I love how she mixes patterns and fabrics and she tends to add a pop of bright colour to most of her ensembles for a punch, I think she has a style that's very fun and fresh!

I just wanted to post a few of my favourite pieces from the Winter Kate line, I love the fabrics and shapes that she used they feel very bohemian and true to Nicole's style... I need to get across the border to do some serious shopping, I see a visit to Macy's in the near future! Both of these floaty tunics pictured aare priced between $90-$110, a total investment for sure...

Boho Babe

This outfit makes me long for a warm summer day... I love this look it is so simple and pretty and anyone can pull it off, you just need a great maxi dress some metallic flipflops or gladiators and a killer pair of shades... Nicole is wearing a dress from her Winter Kate line and I have to mention that her wine coloured Balenciaga bag is amazing... I am on the hunt for a few new maxi dresses, I would like a bold bright print and a soft muted print one as well... I will let you know how my search goes!

New Do

I am really digging the new undone updo, this is the perfect look for day or night and can be done with shoulder length or longer hair... Pull your hair up loosely for day and tighter for night, place the pony at the top of your crown and wrap around the remaining hair securing it with bobby pins... Spray with a medium hold hairspray and voila you have a Hollywood Chignon!!

Casual Jessica

I had a very busy weekend hence the lack of posts, one highlight was some outlet shopping on Sunday and there were lots of great steals and deals to be had... I acquired a beautiful handbag and a really cool bright print silk scarf... Anyhoo while perusing the web for inspiration today I came across these fabulous pics of Jessica Alba in her always casual cool streetwear, I love her style and I definitely have stolen a few outfit ideas from her... She has the right formula, sticking with great basics and never too trendy but always the right amount of accessories whether it be killer shades or a fabulous handbag she always gets it right... P.s. could her daughter be any cuter!!

I Love A Surprise

Imagine my excitement when I came home from work today to find this amazingly gorgeous orange and fuschia COACH Poppy tote waiting for me at the front door... Not only are the colours perfect for Spring but the shape is just right for the zillion things I manage to fill my handbags up with! I must have the most adorable generous husband in the world and it was actually just his birthday so he should be the one getting gifts... Although I certainly did not object! I wonder if this will become a habit for him, I could handle that ;)

Spring Sale Alert

Major sale alert ladies and gents! H&M has a mid-season sale happening now until April 25th and is offering up to 50% off hundreds of items for men, women and children... I just took a quick peak yesterday and I am definitely heading back this weekend for another looksy! I spotted a khaki green lightweight trench and an adorable tunic in a teal and black print that would be great with tights now and then sandals when I actually get some colour on my legs ;)

Kinky Do

I can't believe I have never done a Gwyneth post before, she is an all American classic beauty and I have admired her red carpet and street style for years now... But I think the most amazing thing about her look is her perfect shiny incredible hair! As much as I love her middle part pin straight trademark hairdo I absolutely love this kinky imperfect curled look on her in this pic... This look can be achieved with a straightening iron and a little bit of practice, bend the hair in different directions while curling to give it some texture and run some shine serum through it when you are done to polish this look, this is undone done to perfection!

Flawless Face

This is an absolutely beautiful makeup application and of course it helps that Lea Michele is completely stunning and has amazing skin... I love this trend for spring in makeup of the natural but polished look, a glowing peach blush and matte nude lip with a little extra on the eyes using chocolates and taupes instead of harsh black... And don't forget to fill in your brows with a little pencil and finish them off with clear mascara to keep them in place... This look works for day and night just add a band of false lashes for a an evening on the town, try any of the Quo styles from Shoppers Drugmart they are soft and natural looking and can be used over and over!

Ravishing Reese

This is the perfect spring weather outfit, the key to a stylish and practical ensemble is lightweight layers and Reese Witherspoon does this with ease... I love the bright blue pashmina and striped tee with great neutral pieces and the must have ballet flat, her look works for all ages and body types and I love it!!

Easter In A Dress

Oh springtime how I love this time of year and Easter is one of my favourite holidays! Partially because of all the fabulous spring clothes especially dresses that come out this season :) I was picking out outfits online for tomorrow as I always take any chance to dress up that I can get and I found some amazing deals on the Old Navy website... None of the pieces I picked out including the shoes are over $30!! This is the place to shop on a budget and with so many colour and style choices there is something for every gal... I have similar pieces to what I picked out here so this is an Easter ensemble I put together for me, I love dresses with cardigans I have been wearing this look alot lately and will be again tomorrow!

Spring Uniform

This is the perfect spring outfit and a must have piece in every gals wardrobe, the always flattering shirt dress... I just bought a great red one from H&M for $35 the other day, I love adding my own belts to them and dressing them up with fun bold accessories.. Vanessa Hudgens looks extra adorable in her chambray version paired with a studded leather handbag and floppy brim hat, she looks effortlessly cool and ready for the sunshine!
